Progress Report
hey all, I will update this throughout the year as lifts progress... On the 12/10/02 I maxed out at 288lbs for deadlift. Today 10/02/03 I maxed out at 304lbs !!!!! Was aiming for 300lbs, you might think 4lbs is not much extra but I could really feel it make a difference, anyway .... this was my goal for next month so I am ahead of schedual which is always good. next Deadlift goal is 400 by 26/09/03.
Here it is !

Kickin' butt! Way to go Lee (you've got me beat there!)
I couldn't help wondering if your barbell is being supported on each end by the building frame (that appears to be) behind you. Just kidding, but it looks pretty funny.

Supported? Are you kidding ? No WAY ! the only thing supporting that bar is me ! Damn..... I'll have to take another pic for proof if it looks a bit suspicious. But no I swear that was a pure and good lift..... I am on a high now

That pic is too funny... the bar looks... I dunno... Good work Lee. Since those plates seem to be smaller than Olympic plates you're lifting from a lower position than most I guess. That definitely makes things harder. With some good bumper plates you could probably do 315 without a problem. But it wouldn't look as freaky as that though...

Thanks and yeah I need new weights Tuna, I hardly squat I like to leg press, but last time I remember I was squatting 225lb which really aint that good but I guess I should start to add them again, Bench goal for the 26/09/03 is 360lb and then 01/12/03 is 390lb thats it for this year..... I have benched 290lb up to now.

Hi, time for an update - OK so I've not updated for what 5 months now ? lol, oh well here it is. This picture was 18th May this year, 288lbs squat, the next workout the following week, which was last week I got 300lb for 2 reps, I will get a pict of that for proof, but for now the 288lbs one will have to do, hmmm, I need a new bar, this lift just about ****ed it, but last week really mashed it, has a massive curve in it perminantly, so everyone... I am taking Lee's new bar donations as of now lol, other stats you might be interested in are,
Deadlift: 345lbs for 8 reps, 14th May.
Notice how long that 45lbs took, too damn long. Although it did come (probably due to the jumpstretch band training thanks god!)

Here's the god damn bar, I will take a pict of it now, without the weight, it stays in the same shape lol. By the way, ebon00 - thanks for the advice of trying the deads with an olympic bar & plates, it worked. Oh yeah, I'm 17 years of age, 214lbs as of last weekend.
