Basically I am going to try and head to the gym everyday during lunch at work. LA Fitness is right across the street from work :]
I am 20 years old, about 5'6 or 5'7 and weight about 185 lbs. My short term goal is to get my weight down to 175. I would also like to gain a little more muscle. But my ultimate goal is to remain healthy

Today I brought some salad with light
italian dressing sprinkled with croutons. I will probably eat this before I make my way to the gym, which should be between 12pm and 1pm. I also have a small bag of peanuts that I will snack on up until my salad.
Yesterday I used the
elliptical machine for about 15 minutes then rode the bike for 10 minutes.
Today I plan to do some weights, aiming at my chest and triceps. 3 sets of 6-10 reps.
What I envision myself doing so far is doing weights every other day and cardio on the nonweightlifting days.
