so i followed pierini's advice and did the burpee w/o as he stated, or at least TRIED to!
did 3 solid rounds as follows:
#1. 30seconds of burpees-30seconds on the bag-30seconds of burpees-30seconds on the bag = 2 minutes total
#2. 30seconds of burpees-30seconds on the bag-30seconds of burpees-30seconds on the bag = 2 minutes total
#3. 30seconds of burpees-30seconds on the bag-30seconds of burpees-30seconds on the bag = 2 minutes total
#4. 30seconds of burpees-30seconds on the bag = 1 minute total
#5. 30seconds of burpees-30seconds on the bag = 1 minute total
between each round was 1 full minute of rest. could really feel the effect of the burpees after the first 30 second round, legs felt sluggish. all in all a really good cardio workout, gonna start doing these regularly and try and get 5 2 minute rounds in :

You did really good today. Just because pierini says doesn't mean pierini can do. I'm not sure I could have done what you did today.
Keep up the good work. Welcome to the pedal to the metal club.

Good looking workout today...I'm about to do back too. I went to the gym once today, too crowded to stay. Hopefully this next time it is less crowded. Numbers are looking good!
