Did not workout today but I am keeping up with my diet, so thats one good thing. Tomarrow I think I may do my back day if the shooting pains die down a bit.

don't be in such a rush! WHEN the shooting pains *have died* is the time to work your back, never mind "died down a bit". this is one area you do NOT want to fug around with - i live with lower back injury and it's NOT FUN.

just a quick tip for ya re: sweating.

You can't sweat out fat/unwanted bodyweight, the only thing you're losing by sweating is water so if you weigh yourself before and after a run the difference is really only going to be your level of hydration, not actually any 'real' weight loss.

Make sure you get lots of water into you after the run and I woud suggest next time there is no need for a sweatshirt (unless it's cold obviously ).

keep up the great work mate :

..

ah-ha! lol my bad

I had an image of you pulling on a sweatshirt convinced it was key to shedding pounds while running. No kidding I see people running in full tracksuits in high summer because they think sweating is somehow connected to fat loss. It's not ... I rekon that sort of thing is fairly strongly linked with kidney failure though

running at 5:30 in the cold ... Kudos to you my friend.

Hah I have two friends whop do that. They tell me that it sweats off fat

After staying up all night without sleep and watching the same movie 3 times, I felt a run would break the dullness (is that a word?). Thanks alot for reading my journal

So far today:

*Woke up: 9:30

*Didnt have breakfast because I like to run on an empty stomache. I eat breakfast when I lift.

*CARDIO*

Post workout
Whey shake
1.5 scoop of whey powder
half a banana
1/2 cups of fat free milk
1/3 cup cottege cheese

3rd Meal

two 98% fat free hotdogs
a yellow bell pepper
I was planning on having a small chicken breast I found in the fridge but when I reheated it i realized it tasted like crap
Instead I had a bowl of kashi go lean crunch (I love tis stuff. high protein, average carbs n no fat.)

Dinner around 5 or 6

then Ill find something small to ahve around 10. maybe some celery and natty pb.

Eat breakfast! You're gonna be using muscle to fuel that cardio if you don't.

What you listed above, is that all you eat? I hope not man, I'd be dying of hunger if I was you.

I agree, reheated chicken breast sucks.

How many calories are you eating a day? How many do you need? It just doesn't seem like very much.
