I've seen people do this little 'bounce' between upright rows. Is that what you mean?

Well I noticed that I like to kinda lift my shoulders up before I actually bring the weight up.

I went to Jamaica last year with some other people and we built a women's shelter in the village of Santoy. This year we are going to rebuild a preschool that was damaged during the hurricane season. It's a lot of fun though. Work for awhile during the day and enjoy the beach the rest of the time. I'll be gone for 10 days. Jamaica is really cool, but if you are going just to be a tourist, it would probably get old fast. There are alotta people on the shoreline that want to sell you certain things and that can get annoying. But if you get the chance to go into the jungles and everything in that area, it's really beautiful. The sunsets on the beach are amazing too.

Thursday 5/5/05
Well, I've been working 12 hour shifts and not gettin enough sleep all week and it's catching up to me. I felt like I was gonna fall asleep driving to the gym. But all things considered, I did surprisingly well today. I even upped all the weights a little bit from last week.
Lat Pulldowns (Hammer)
160 x 6
180 x 5
170 x 5
Seated Cable Rows
155 x 6
170 x 6
Good Mornings
115 x 6
125 x 6
Nautilus Lower Back Machine
155 x 6
170 x 6
Now it's off to work for another long shift. I can't wait for the weekend! I'm exhausted.

Do you keep legs locked or you bend the knee for good mornings?

Tomorrow is supposed to be chest day. I really killed the lats today, so I was thinking of doing my cardio tomorrow, and then chest the next day so I can be a little more fresh for the bench press. What do you guys think?

My buddy got back from Florida last night, so he came over and we spun some records then went to the skatepark. Definitley broke a sweat there, so that's the cardio for today. :

Probably was a good idea to take the day off and set bench back a day.

Well I decided to put the boat in and go wakeboarding Saturday in the <50 degree water. It was a lot of fun even though I was freezing. Worked my pulling muscles pretty good too.
Sunday.....I woke up feeling bad that I missed my chest workout this week. I got my mom to push Mother's day dinner back so I could hit the gym today. And it was well worth it...
Sunday 5/8/05
Flat BB Bench Press
125 x 6
135 x 6
140 x 4
HELLLL YEA!! I got past 135!! That second set went up so clean too. I could have pushed another rep or two at 140 but I didn't have a spotter.
Incline DB Press
45's x 6
50's x 6
50's x 5
Also better than last time.
Dips
BW x 6
BW x 6
Still need to find a weight belt.

I just need a way to be able to add more resistance to the dips. I don't know what I can use.
Oh, and it was hard to find anyone that wanted to go to the gym on Mother's day.
