Hell yeah man way to knock that 135 milestone out. I remember when 135 was just a dream for me lol. You'll be hitting the higher weights a lot sooner than you think!

How does Max-OT cardio work? I like the weight training methodology and apply most of its main points to my workouts. I never read up on the cardio section though. Interval training?

They suggest doing the hill program on the recumbent bike, or you could do intervals like in HIIT or guerilla cardio. It's the same basic principles. They say that every cadio session, you should try to go harder than last time. I just try to push hard for the 16 minutes and go farther than I did last time.

Wednesday 5/11/05

Felt kinda sick today but I made it through the workout.

Incline BB Press
115 x 6
125 x 4
115 x 6

Not bad, haven't done incline bench press in awhile. Last time I could barely do 95, so that's cool.

Flat DB Press
60's x 4
55's x 6

I've actually never tried flat db presses, they were tough!

Decline BB Press
135 x 4

By the time I got to the decline my chest was pretty beat.

Kneeling Cable Crunches
77.5 x 10
82.5 x 10

Weighted Crunches (Decline Bench)
BW+45 x 12
BW+45 x 12

Hoping I don't get sick. I gotta be healthy for Jamaica in two weeks.

Thursday 5/12/05

BB Bent over Rows
95 x 6
105 x 6

First time doing these.

Lat Pulldowns
160 x 6
170 x 6

Pull ups
-50 x 5
-50 x 4

I can do several bodyweight pullups with an underhand grip. Guess I gotta work on these.

Seated Cable Row
170 x 6

Deadlift
155 x 6
155 x 6

BB Shrugs
135 x 6

I'm still feeling sick. I was seeing stars and thought I was gonna throw up after deadlifts. If I still don't feel good tomorrow I'm gonna have to take a day off.

I'd put the deadlifts first in the routine just cuz they take the most out of you.

I second the deadlift notion. 50 x 5 for pullups is nothing to be ashamed of man! Thats pretty damn good.

Yea I was thinking the same thing, but thats how the Max-OT program had todays workout laid out. I was pretty exhausted by the time deadlifts came around.

The pull ups were bodyweight minus 50. I can do full sets with an underhand grip and no help, but when I go wider and overhand grip it gets really tough.

Get better. The weights are waiting for you. Oh yeah, don't forget to drink lots of fluids and don't forget to EAT! Can't lose gains because you don't feel like eating for a couple days.
