Lol thanks, but I'm not that excited about it. I might save it for Saturday when the gym is less crowded, because it didn't look do-able with the gym traffic tonight.

Front Squats

These were tough, but they felt good today. No problems with the ankle, so I'll probably stick with front squats for a little bit. It should help my push press at least.

Leg Extensions (Quads)

DB Lunges

Smith Machine Calf Raises

Opted for some different accessory work today. I can't really do anything on the leg press because it puts too much pressure on my ankle. I still feel like I got in a nice workout with these machines though.

Arms uncrossed and elbows up. My arms were basically at shoulder width, a much more narrow grip than if you were benching or something like that. I found a nice groove along my shoulders that made it fairly comfortable.

so bascialy like how you would catch a clean?! Will we be seeing those next?

yes exactly. I've done cleans in the past, and I'll try to work in a day for clean and presses. It's one of my favorite exercises, even though I'm not great at it.

Got in a real quick session today

Clean and Push Press

145 x 0
I've never gotten 135 for even 1 rep, so I was very happy to get two. Tried 145 and just barely missed the press. Wasn't getting very good leg drive today because my legs are just beat this week.

Thanks Pierini. The two at 135 really took it out of me, so I wasn't expecting to get it. I think I could get it if I warmed up properly for it though.

Today I tried to tackle Linda. I started out as prescribed on my first sets and realized I probably wouldn't make it through with those weights. BW is about 175-176, so I decided to do it at 175 weights.

"LINDA"
10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 rep rounds of
BWx1.5 Deadlift
BWx1.0 Bench
BWx.75 Clean

For me this would be 262.5 Deadlift, 175 bench, 130 clean. And here's the workout...

Deadlift
265 x 10
245 x 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1
This was probably the hardest exercise in the workout.

Bench
175 x 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1
Got all my reps on bench without much trouble.

Cleans
115 x 10
95 x 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1
I had planned to start out a little light with cleans, because I'm still not completely comfortable doing 130 for cleans. 115 was still pretty hard so I dropped it down to 95, seemed to be a pretty good weight for the workout.

Time: 54:20

I wanted to quit after the 10,9,8 rounds, but I kept pushing. This was absolutely exhausting and I was sweating like crazy. I probably could have got it done a little faster, but work has really taken it outta me this week. I was surprised I even finished. Eventually I'd like to get this done as prescribed in under 40 minutes, but I'm happy with today's effort.

Bravo Eric! You did absolutely wonderful on Linda. She is a BEAST. I know the feeling of wanting to quit rounds 10-9-8-7...once you get to 6 it's like ok I can do this. Wonderful job, I am very proud of you. I am sure you will get Linda as rx'd and in under 40. It will be easier next time around. Now eat up and get some rest!

wow nice... that's a cool idea and I think I'll do it sometime soon. I can't do any of those exercises at those weights, so I'll probably do BWx1.0 deadlift, BWx0.75 bench, BWx0.5 cleans. since those figures match my strength very accurately.
