I was gonna say that given your squat power, those SLDLs should be higer. Really nice job on those squats. I wish I was hitting 275 x 6!

They were fun, I've never done them before...I was gettin outta breath after the full set. They seem to hit the gluteus maximus real nice . I'm walking really slow now at work.
I think I might try some grip training on Friday. Any suggestions on what to start with?

Hanging from a pull-up bar for time. Add some weight around your waist if you need it - or better yet, do some pull-ups. Add some weight around your waist if you need an extra challenge.

I love static holds for grip work, do 20 second holds with double overhand and mixed grip both. A lot of people like BB wrist curls too. If you do those, load on the weight, all you gotta do is move your wrist a couple inches really.
I've been playing with the gripper I got in the mail. I think I need to lay off it for a little bit...my palms are sore lol.

Woo hoo! You should be able to do a lot more with mixed grip. I usually add a plate per side when I do mixed (so if it's 315 double overhand, then it's 405 mixed).

yea I didn't really know where to start so I just threw a couple plates on there and tried it. It's harder than it looks though. But it's definitley something I'll add to my workouts, it was fun. It's cool competing with my workout partner to see who can hold it longer.

For the record: my previous post is in no way homosexual. I just had chili cheese fries and I'm talking to Eric now. We're friends. Nothing more. We both LOVE girls.
