teenpumper's back from concussion workout

I started last week and now i'm gonna track my progress (if anybody cares lol).

My workout is a 4 day a week one with upper body on monday and thursday and lower body on tuesday and friday. Wednesday is my cardio day.

I usually do the exercises i feel like buy make it mandatory that i do 4 sets of squat and bench.

Tuesday:

Squat
1X10 @ 145
1X7 @ 165
1X4 @ 185
1X2 @ 205

Calf Raises
1X5 @ 350
1X7 @ 330

and yeah that's all that i accomplished in gym class sucks wish i could get some more. the heavy squats felt good and i'm just back into the swing of things from my 2 month concussion recovery break. I guess i have about 25 pounds to lose also. Not too worried abvout the weight cause i will take it off working this summer. I'm just focused on strength.

Right now I'm not at really my strongest. My squat is back. I'm just going to try for strength this time and let the fat come off with my workouts. I'm not really gonna do a fat burining workout cause what's the point. This summer doing my job will burn almost everything off like it did last year. There's nothing like a 40 hour week of trimming Christmas trees.

So we've got 205lbs squat, I'm interested when's your next back day ? What do you do for back ? I wouldn't mind being where you are for your dead's. Last time I was running at 395lbs for reps, but 400+ seems a long way ... got any ideas?

I haven't done anything really special for deadlift. I tend to use my quads more cause that's a strong point. I can kinda see that my hams are holding me back. I don't do a back day. On upper body day I will do back extension (oops forgot to include them) and sometimes bent over rows.

Thursday April 15th:

Last night i had a sh*tload of homework so I was up til 1. Got up at 6. 5 hours ain't fun. I think I may have been able to squeeze out more but i got an awesome workout today. My bench max is now at the normal (according to the charts).

Bench:
1X2 @ 185
1X3 @ 175
1X5 @ 165
1X8 @ 145

I go heavy when I have the most energy and work my way down from there. I do proper stretches and push-ups to warm up so don't worry.

Straight bar curls
1X5 @ 95
1X6 @ 85

Db Shoulder shrugs
1X5 @ 65 (no it ain't combine like Maurder lol)
1X7 @ 55

Close grip bench press (straight bar no help for the wrists)
1X5 @ 135
1X6 @ 125

Back extensions
1X20 @ bodyweight + 25

Crunches
1X50 @ bodyweight

All measurements are in pounds.

Tonight will probably be another late maybe all-nighter (sucks for recovery ) I have a lot dumped on me. Honors sucks for this. Just relaxing a little before I get completely stressed out (also not good for recovery )

Friday Arpil 16th:

Squat

1X10 @ 150
1X8 @ 170
1X4 @ 190
1X3 @ 210 (took this on the chart and it came to a 230 max! increased it 15 pounds)

Leg extension
1X7 @ 255
1X2 @ 290

Leg Curls
1X5 @ 165
1X5 @ 155

This is all I did today. I'm psyched about my squat. I'm gonna conquer it!
