The Diary of a Xenadrine User (Inc. Stats)
Hi,
I know that people have experienced mixed results using Xenadrine so I am going to keep a log on the forum of how I am doing, feeling what most importantly I am losing.
If nobody gives one then flame me but I know I had a lot of questions when thinking about using Xenadrine so maybe this will help new users.
I am 23, no illnesses, my occupation is an IT manager (which explains my sitting around ), I have a resting heart rate of 60, and my diet is now made up of 60% protein, 35% Carbs and 5% fat. I use Whey protein, Creatine, Glutamine, Amino 1000's, Multi vit & minerals and flaxseed oil as supplements. I am on no prescription drugs, I don’t really drink alcohol; don’t use drugs, no pro-hormones and no steroids. I push weights four nights per week and only have one cardio session per week (2 hours - high intensity).
I will weigh myself every morning first thing and record my body fat % and my weight.
I am using Tanita Body Fat Scales and currently weigh 14st 2lbs with 25% body fat (although this I know is wrong, I am purchasing a different set from GNC as my true body fat is 17.5%) but for test purposes I will continue with the Tanita scales.
Good luck
Dave

Week One - Day One
Started today on half dose, 1 capsule in the morning before breakfast and another at 4pm and will remain like this for 1 week (as per recommendations) to see how well my body accepts it.
Don’t feel much difference but there is something that is a little different, hard to explain although I am sure this is my mind playing tricks.
Food and water consumption is still the same, I have heard that Xen stalls your appetite a bit, nothing gets between me and my food!
Days Report - Status Normal, sir!!

Week One - Day Two
Stats
Weight > 14st 05lbs
Fat % > 26%
Presume hydration levels have caused this!!
Firstly there is no problem sleeping yet but I presume this is only because I am taking a half dose. I certainly can feel a difference; I can only explain it as though I have been slightly worked up by something which has raised both my heart rate and my adrenalin, kind of strange feeling.
My appetite is good and I have experienced no dizziness, nausea or headaches.
Before my workout I used creatine, glutamine and protein. I worked my triceps and traps. The workout was average although I did sweat a lot and felt the blood pounding in my head.
Overall there is not much difference apart from the feeling I mentioned above

Week One - Day Four
Stats
Weight > 14st 00lbs
Fat % > 27% (crazy scales!)
Today was great until I missed a meal at 4.00pm, drunk some glutamine & creatine then made my way to the gym. Bust my biceps and felt like hell, tried to work on the chest and had to stop! Felt sick and had no strength.
This may not be a reflection of Xen but it mildly slows your hunger. My diet is so tight that if I miss a meal then things will not perform.
EAT WELL!!
Overall
Day's Report - All good!

By "Thank God for GNC" do you mean "Thank corporate America for screwing over consumers by playing into their weaknesses"?

Danugi, ordinarily I would agree but not this time!!
I have spent a lot of time talking to their sports nutrition guy which saves a lot of money paying someone with the same qualifications, got their discount card, the price I paid I made back on the first purchase and got a brill fat monitor for £31.99 where if you search on the web for one you will see most places are asking for £45 and upwards, one I saw was even £59.99.
To go off my previous post about Amino 100's, it was Holland and Barrett that, erm... for want of a better word, led me up the garden path.
I am sure everyone has their own experiences of places but I am 100% happy with GNC.
Also... not forgetting I live in Norfolk, UK. You're in deliverence country now, boy
GNC is the best I have mate!
