todays workout was pretty good. i bumped some numbers up, which is always a good thing.
pull downs 3x5@255
T-bar rows 2x5@120
close cable rows 2x6@225
jaster shrugs 2x6@255
wide cable rows 3x6@210
DB shrugs 2x7@100s (couldnt find the 105s)
straight bar curls 6,5@95
DB hammer curls 6,5@45s
rear delt crossovers 3x6@40
lately i have been working on a tan so after every workout i go to the track and do a hardcore stretch followed by walking 3 laps without a shirt on. that is also motivation to keep a clean diet and run more.

i just found out that the powerlifting meet i have been waiting for is on 8 jan. im still hoping for a 1200 but the numbers dont look so well. i have a suit and that will bump up the squat and DL enough that i feel right now i could get 1175. now i just gotta concentrate on the diet and not let myself get too much above 181. right now im sitting around 184-185. im going to drop the creatine and hope my water weight will drop enough so i dont have to do any pre weigh in running.

Do you think dropping the creatine will give you a problem with keeping your strength up?

i dont think so. im going to try to keep taking it and stay within limits but if i think its going to come down to either losing a few sweat pounds or dropping creatine i will definitely drop the creatine.

From what I understand creatine helps you get alot stronger but when u go off of it, you kind of lose some of that strength.
Is that true?

According to my buddy (he takes it) it makes him strong as hell after a couple weeks. That's when he feels it kicking in. He's pretty experienced though. It could have to do with muscle development.
There's always so many variables man.

its been over 2 months since my last entry. i have been lifting but for the most part my workouts have been mediocre (sp) at best. i have come up with a plan that i think will give me good size and strength gains. its basically the same as i have been doing with a little difference. i didnt like having legs and back so close because my traps and lower back would be so sore from squat and SLDL.
legs, calves, abs
chest, shoulders, tris
off
back, bis
off
i also have this set up as 3 different 5 day cycles:
power - 1-3 reps on core lifts, 4-5 on secondary
dynamic - 3 reps on core lifts, 6-7 on secondary
light - 8-10 reps on core lifts, 8-10 secondary
i have also incorporated running 2xweek. i have started using a treadmill so i can better monitor progress. i started at 1.5 miles at 6.3, now i am using 6.6. i will do this until i am running it under 10 miutes then use that same speed and work up to 15.
