No...55 pounds. I'm 229 as of this morning.
Due to a one-day-only change in my work schedule, I was able to work out later in the morning (thanks be to God), and do it at the school weight room, which is cool because they have bumper plates and I don't. So, I did some Oly lifting:
Clean and jerk
singles - 135, 145, 155, 165, 175, 185 PR
Clean, no jerk
singles - 190, 195, 200 miss, 200 PR
Overhead squat
65x10, 85x10

Hi Tim and congrats on those PRs. Very nice.
I have been following a singles progression cadence with both my snatch and C&J training, after a warmup of course, and I really like it. There is something about singles training that keeps you fresh for the heavier load and allows you to concentrate on perfect form. I'm doing an Oly lift workout later today and singles it will be for me.

I haven't been working out enough. I suck. Metcon in the morning is just too hard right now, so I think I'm just going to pick up heavy stuff for a while.

That's roughly half a kg a week if my maths are not totally off - that's some good progress indeed!!

Thanks, all! Pierini, the chesticles may well be getting bigger but unfortunately so is the belly. It's not looking good for "tshirt-off season". I'm actually thinking of it as "getting back to metcon, doing some running season".

Had to do something different; by only working out at 5 am I just haven't been working out at all. So I brought the kettlestack to work and did the following in my Band room after school:
21-15-9, 45 lb kettlestack, for time...
-rh swing
-lh swing
-rh clean & jerk
-lh clean & jerk
-goblet squat
Finished in 17:21.
