Workout B
5x5
Squat (light)......75, 85, 95, 105, 115
Bench (light)......75, 85, 95, 105, 115
Dead............145, 160, 180, 200, 220
Clean & Press.....80, 90, 100, 110, 120

This one was great. Of course it's like a rest day or active recovery day with the light squat and bench work...but deads actually felt like work but still went up easily. Same for C&P. These are getting better and easier, yet heavier each week...

I don't know how long this will last, but I'm going to enjoy it while it does.

Cardio didn't happen again. Got my running shorts and shoes on....was going to do the bike first, had a couple of hundred new songs in the player...tones dropped and off to the far end of Big Cove I went. now it's just too late and I think we're in for a busy night. I'm going to try to sleep if I get a chance since tomorrow is another 24 hours at work. These 24 to 48 hour shifts are tough, but they do beat the hell out of 8 or 12.

Great to see things are easy for you even as the numbers get up there again. Good job Andy.

Workout A

5x5

Squat (heavy).....100, 110, 125, 140, 155
Bench (heavy).....100, 110, 125, 140, 155
Row (BW x Failure)......12, 10, 9, 14, 12
Chin (BW x Failure)......13, 10, 8, 10, 7

Getting heavy now. But strength is still going up, I'm getting it back in spite of being on a cutting diet. Happy today.

Workout B
5x5

Squat (light).....75, 85, 95, 105, 115
Bench (light).....75, 85, 95, 105, 115
Dead...........150, 165, 185, 205, 225

Ran out of time, no clean and press today, had to get to work. It's a shame too because I was looking forward to setting a new PR on that one.

As I read more and more crossfit stuff and see the level of fitness those folks are developing I'm now becoming more interested in the olympic lifts like the snatch, the actual clean and jerk, and doing them back to back along with things like thrusters.

I guess it's about time I learn to front squat, do power cleans, etc... And I'm seriously considering a few visits to the new Crossfit gym in Murphy.

If you start doing some of the CF workouts go with light weights, your heart rate is
going to take the biggest hit along with the mental part of not stopping halfway through
the workout.

It would be great if you can go to the CF gym and get checkout on the oly lifts!
Good Luck, look forward to reading

Oh I'd definitely have to get some coaching on the proper technique for the oly lifts. Thank you for the video link. I'm not really afraid of size loss with crossfit since I'm not a bodybuilder. But strength loss...not pushing for heavier weights every week...that worries me a little. I can't afford to lose strength and it seems that if I'm not moving forward, I'm moving backwards. Hey...at least I'm moving.
