5x5 circuits (heavy)
5 rounds of:
Squat 115x5, Bench 90x5, Dead 135x5
Today was definitely doable. Squats, no matter how light...take a lot out of me. I see a wuss machine in my future...I mean a leg press. Grrrrr....
Oh well, doing the best I can with what I've got.

So I've worked 158 hours in the last two weeks and missed a few workouts. Dammit...
Tired, undereating, missed sleep, and made it to the gym...knowing morning activities had drained me too much to get a good workout... Still gave it a try.
I'm back to workout A and workout B. With my schedule I simply cannot get a workout EOD then take two days off.

Workout A
2 rounds of:
Squat 115x5, Bench 115x5, Row BWx10, Chin BWx10
Almost 2 rounds... failed at 5 on chins on second round...this one will be a repeat until I get going again. THIS WORKOUT SUCKED!!!!

Cardio...if one has enough imagination to call it that.
Walk to track
2 rounds of:
Sprint 60m
Walk 60m
Sprint 60m
Walk 60m
Walk 1/2 mile
Walk home
4 rounds of:
Sprint 60m
Walk 60m
Walk 1/2 mile
Total
8 - 60m sprints
8 - 60m walks
3 miles walked + to and from track (maybe 3/4 mile extra)
Getting a little closer to being able to
move around slowly...a lot
lift heavy things...occasionally
move really fast...when I have to.
Some of the sprints were actually pretty good ones.
My legs are now whomped...they've been giving me quite a bit of trouble lately so I'm pleased with their cooperation.

Workout B (light)
5 Rounds of:
Squat 70, C&J 70, Bench 70, Dead 135
5 reps each lift per round
Working on getting deeper into the front squat during the clean part of the lift - making it almost to parallel, full depth is going to take a while.
After my workout, I had a wee bit of energy left and my shirt wasn't totally saturated so I did a few snatches to finish off. This is a completely new lift to me...today was my very first time. Should have taken video for some comedy. Perhaps another day I'll do them with an empty bar until I actually learn how to do them right.
Lifting E3D seems to be it for a while. I'll walk on lifting days to loosen up. The day after sprints, I'm currently too stiff and sore to even think about the lightest squats.
Need to be more consistant.

Ah. The joy of new lifts lol. I'm so sore and stiff carrying 2 litres of pop home is a challenge - and it's not a block lol (pop's not for me )

Yes Amanda, it's quite interesting when I try to learn new lifts...sometimes...quite comical. But ya know, like the sign at the local Crossfit gym says, "if it was supposed to be easy, we'd be doing dumbell curls." I'm not much of one to do many curls these days.

Walked 1 hour.
The Park Service's walking track was closed today...no idea why so instead of doing 2 or three miles there, we hit the street and did up and down hills walking for an hour. If it's still closed tomorrow, my walking and sprints will be in the street in front of my house.

Walked one hour.
Wasn't able to sprint...upper back and hamstring still suffering from last sprint day and my leg wouldn't hold me up to run. So...I walked instead.

Workout A (heavy for me )
5 Rounds of:
Squat 115x5, Bench 115x5, Chin BWx5, Row BWx10
Reducing number of chins and putting them before rows kept me from collapsing mid workout. Will work on ability to get ten reps/set on chins again.

Decent workout considering your leg isn't in great shape. And hey - nothing wrong with walking when you can't run. Just a lighter workout is all.

Walked a little over 1 hour.
Still unable to run. Leg much better, low back much better, but upper back still pretty tight. Tomorrow is lifting/walking day...perhaps running will be possible the day after? We shall see.

Workout B
5 rounds of:
Squat 80x5, Bench 80x5, Dead 145x5, C&J 80x5
Even though I'm still working light and squat/bench are VERY light today...C&J right after deads, then right into the rack for more squats...it's very taxing this way. With consistency, i'll have an idea what the results will look like in 8 weeks or so. Need to get a new camera cable so that I can get some kind of a clue by having before/after comparison pics.
My back and legs are much better...tomorrow I sprint.

Cardio
2 Rounds of:
Sprint 60m
Walk 120m
Then:
Walked 1 hour.
So last time I decided to push it for 8 sprints...I didn't get to sprint or lift for a while. So today I just did 2 rounds of sprints. I will add one more sprint once I've became acclimated to what I'm doing as originally planned. Damn wobbly legs. 10 second 60m sprints really suck a lot...maybe someday I can get faster.

Cardio
4 rounds of tabata cycle routine:
30 seconds max output
1.5 minutes 50% effort
------------------------
Then finished off the rest of 30 minutes on the bike at 80RPM.
Went to treadmill to walk at 3mph for 30 more minutes...made it 10 then ended up having to stop workout to go on a couple of ambulance calls.
------------------------------
I was suprised that I wasn't immobilized with soreness after yesterday's sprints...will repeat today's workout tomorrow. If I get to go home tomorrow, I'll lift and do an hour of walking instead.
