workout + height.
Hey guys,
Im 17 years old and I actually have two questions to ask. Firstly, till what age do boys grow till? and if at the age of 17 I will still grow in height, will working out ( Like push-ups, sit-ups, etc...) effect my growth?

Guys usually grow till 18 - 21 years old although there are exceptions in both extremes(you may stop at 15, or grow till 25 for instance).
Pushups and situps are very basic movements that will not harm your growth at all unless done incorrectly(i do not see how this is possible). You should definetely post this elsewhere next time to get more attention.

About height, it really depends. I was basically reached my peak by 15 or 16. Where as I have friends that shot up at like 18. I guess you could check out your family. If your dad is like 5' 10'', this may be your height, but yet again this doesn't mean it's true. My family is pretty short on both sides(Mom and dads). My dad was 5'7'' - 5'8'' ish, and I was 6'0'' so, you never know.

ah ok thanks guys, so u would suggest that I should keep on doing the sit-ups and push-ups but correctly?

Oh, and keep doing exercises, they will only add to growth.
Aldo include chins and stuff.

All exercises are good except *possibly* 300lb+ squats, or 150lb military presses.

Lol strange thing is i am damn close to a 150 pd military press. Give me a few weeks of training it again and i will hit that  .

You could do heavy weight training easily at your age and not worry about growth problems. I started lifting at 13 and I am still growing fine. Good luck getting started bro  :
