My current look at 7.6% body fat

I am right now 7.6% body fat, with a weight of 160 lbs (lean body mass 147.8lbs, fat mass 12.2 lbs)

The majority of my workouts are typically a morning cardio series of either a 1.5-2.5 mile jog or the same distance alternating with sprints. I do ab workout on a stability ball and I do sets of 50 triangle style pushups (ie hands one atop another) and 50 plyometric pushups (hands clapping in front), occassionally I'll do sets of 10 of a special kind of pushup where you clap your hands behind your back (very difficult). I've been doing minimal weights. And the besides those warmups, the majority of my workout is spent in the gym training Muay Thai kickboxing. By fight time I like to be 155 lbs, but lately I've gained a proportionate amount of muscle and fat (2.3 lbs muscle and 1.7 lbs fat) so it becomes more difficult.

I do a minimal amount of weights opting instead for body weight exercises, but I'm considering stepping into weights again. I'm also interested in tanning more to get more visible defintion. So I'm asking basically for opinions on my body as it is currently and what is good or should be improved on. Thanks.

PS I've varied the lighting between some pictures to give more accurate overall representation of my current physique.

Pretty good definition. Don't notice any lagging bodyparts ( but I can't see your lower half ). I would definitely say start hitting the heavy weights, if you're worried about gaining too much fat then be sure your diets in check. Cursor and many others in the diet forum can give you lots of help and great advice on what you should be eating if you don't already know. Just use the search feature, and ask if you still can't find an answer. BTW, welcome to DiscussFitness.com

Great mass so far bro. I have to agree that your BF % should be higher, but that's just an observation. You're built a lot like me, and lifting heavy is a must for us. Keep up the good work. :

Nope had the test only a day ago, the skinfold test read 7.6% BF. A year ago when I tested this I was 156 with 6.7% BF, since the test was accurate within a 1% margin of error there hasn't been a significant difference between then and now except the muscle I've gained with a relatively proportional number of fat.

So yeah I guess 6.7-7.6% is still pretty accurate for me. Haha blame genetics I guess.

BTW I'm 5' 9"

Gooseneck, when u said lifting heavy did you mean heavier weights, low rep?

Yea, that's pretty much how I lift with all of my exercises. I have to lift heavy or I lose size.

In a week I'm also going to start concentrating more on my triceps and thighs. When I asked the woman who performed the test where she thinks I should improve on, she said I had a good torso but could add a bit more to my triceps and back (harder to work on since you can't see them in the mirror.

Triceps are a must for anyone, they really fill out your upper arm. They're one of my favorite bodyparts to work on. You dont have any back shots for us to look at, but you seem to have pretty good lats.
