How much should I eat before going to bed???

Last night I had a panda express beef and brocolli and rice.
On the back it said it had only 12gs of fat and 26gs of protein and 520cal
Im wondering if this was too much to eat 1hr before I went to bed

So basically how long should I give myself between dinner and going to sleep???

What you should ideally eat before you go to bed should be based on what 1) what you have fed your body earlier in the day, and 2) whether or not you worked out at an hour close to your bedtime.

I work out usually about 530-630 and go to bed about 10 and eat at 8-9
btw cursor where at in cali are you from?

Make sure that following your resistance training workout you properly nourish your body with an adequate amount of complex carbohydrates, balanced with a heathy serving of protein. Maintaining a lower fat intake for a couple of meals post-workout will the processing of nutrients into your blood (and consequently, to your muscles). Not getting enough can limit (or even negate) the benefits of your workout.

defintly make sure that you are getting in some carbs and lean protein after training then. your body will use those carbs to restore muscle glycogen, so dont listen to the old myth "no carbs before bed". if your training that late and in bed at that time defintly include the carbs.

If you are not doing a post workout shake, you should consume your post workout meal within an hour of finishing. Your training sessions should not be lasting anymore than an hour at most which means you should be ending around 6:30p-7:30p so you should be eating around 7p-8p.

You will want to have a post workout meal that is high in good complex carbs and fast acting protein (Whey is best). I prefer oatmeal with protein powder mixed in as my post workout meal. Many people here prefer a high GI post workout shake (Just search the forum), I used to do this but do not anymore.

Say you workout only 3 days a week, on those other 4 days you do not want to be eating all the carbs at night. You should taper off your carb intake as the day goes on so that your final meal(s) are mostly protein and healthy fats

I workout everyday......What are some good post workout shakes out there???
Inshape city that I go to has a whole bunch in their lil fridge for sale

I know you should only be working out 3-4 days.....but say I workout my biceps and back really hard on monday by thursday my biceps are already starting to grow smaller, noticeably smaller. And Im able to hit them hard again 2 days later.
Should I not be doing this and only hitting each muscle group once a week even though I feel Im ready to hit them again even though its only been 2 days since
