13.2% bodyfat

I had my bodyfat done today for the first time ever. 13.2%. Is this considered high, low, or average? If I wanted to get down to 10%, would it take great strides? or do %'s move fairly quick?

That's below average. I'd guess 17% overall, for guys.

10% won't be easy, but it's not hard by any means. You can only lose a pound or two a week at best, without losing a pile of muscle. Muscle is much harder to gain than fat is to lose. A little smart dieting and you'll be right there or lower.

I had my bodyfat measured in november and it was 13.8%. However, I think it will be a bit lower than that now. Fudo is right aboput 17% being about average. Athletes rang from 6-14% bodyfat so therefore 13.2% isnt bad. I also would like to get down to 10% or lower to have a decent set of abs.

Not really that strict of diet over christmas break (I'll post my diet when I don't have 3 hours of homework a night). Secret is 2 1/2 hours of wrestling practice. To give you an idea of the intensity I lose 3lbs a practice in water weight. 8.1% is actually high for wrestling, a lot of people I know have 3-6% I'm sure mine would be lower but I got my bodyfat done 4 days after not doing anything for 3 weeks due to vacation.

Still 8.1% is excellent. I hope to finish at around that mark but my short term goal is around 10.5%.

Im getting my B/F% measured this week so Ill post back the results when I get them. I think that anything under 13.8% is a result for me.
