2007 Contest Prep Log *Updated Sept 12th*

July 24th

I am way behind schedule (mainly due to the flu) but 8 weeks out, I have decided to press on. I need to add some more cardio and lower my carbs to get were I need to be, but it can be done!

210lbs here, strength is good, joints are good, energy is good.

The mass looks like it is there, now you just have to do the chisel work.

There is a bodybuilder at my gym whom I have watched as he prepares for several competitions. He was steady as clockwork every morning, very early in the morning, doing a butt-whipping 30-40 minute session on the Elliptical Trainer.

Keep this thread active so we can witness your preparation for your upcoming contest.

Flu or not, you are looking better than you did your last time out. You should do well, MM. Are you getting excited about competing?

About what exactly? Look at the photos, some cutting and you are gonna seriously kick ass in your contest. With where you are now...I don't see a thing to worry about.

Hi M&M,

Nothing wrong with a little fear in your belly as it can make for some excellent finishing training and great stage performance. Direct that fear to the good, self-directed and managed fear makes many a good men great!

Looks like you've added quite a bit of size to the legs since your last pictures. Good luck with everything man. :

Appreciate that Eric. Adding size to my legs has always been tough but was even harder the past 8 months due to a groin injury. I had to stop squatting for 5 months and the only heavy leg work I could handle was leg ext/curl, but it seems the light weight/high rep stuff helped out also.

Thick Bro thick! Are you a Ronnie Coleman candidate in training?

The chisel will come because you know what you are doing and you have the desire.

Thanks for keeping us updated.
