I wish we'd see more women. Men have such a distinct advantage. Yep, of course I've seen some fit over fifties, and I'm headed there with my new lovely hip...but it seems we women face more obstacles as we age. An observation. Tools for learning specific to the females would be quite inspiring.

Outstanding stuff guys...thanks for sharing, very inspirational.

And merrida, the only advantage to men is testosterone...helps build more muscle and prevents bone weakening and bone loss. But women can have it now too thanks to the miracle of modern medicine. Sadly, they aren't getting effective HRT until menopause and more test earlier would do them more good.

lol, indeed. i def see cursor as our own local inspiration. at 51 (third pic age) would put most highschool/college age kids to shame. i think the most amazing part about it is that his transformation started at 48. just goes to show you, it's never too late.

all the videos are nuts.

we all have moments in our life that change us and change the way we see things. i saw something that solidified my fitness lifestyle a few months ago...

i was in line at subway when i noticed a gathering of folks next to the fountain drink station. i looked over to see them worrying/helping an old lady that had fallen. i also noticed a few people helping her husband get to her. he was on a walker and could barely move. seeing BOTH of them in this state, i had to wonder what kind of physical condition they were in. i could only assume that, like most older folks, exercise was not part of their daily lives. i get it. not everyone has the same values as us. i dont put my values above anyone else's, but i cannot understand the idea of not taking care of yourself to the point of being so physically incapable of some of the simplest things. i understand that medical conditions, especially at that age, play a factor, but i have to wonder, how many of those conditions would have been eliminated/lessened had they exercised regularly. i cant pretend to know their situation. all i can do is do what i can to give myself the best opportunity to not end up like that.

Would I be terribly out of line if I said, "Damn, cursor, you're one sexy beast!?"

If I would not be out of line: "There ya go, I said it."

If I would be out of line: "I neither confirm nor deny that the previous statement was uttered by me."
